Sukari Presbyterian Junior School

Sukari Presbyterian Junior School (SPJS) is a Christian School sponsored by the PCEA Sukari Parish, its under the management of Kahawa Sukari Church, Congregation Board of Management (CBM). The School is located within Kahawa Sukari Estate.

The School was started in the year 2023 following the adoption of the CBC Curriculum and inception of the Junior Secondary Schools in the Country.

The School has a population of Four hundred and forty two learners (442), the classes are divided into six streams. We thank God for the achievement. We admit Learners around Kahawa Sukari Estate, Ruiru Sub-County, Kiambu County.

We are a unique and diverse community, providing a truly Christian environment and the best quality learning experiences. The School follows the CBC curriculum and we have qualified teachers. We have the capacity for Grade 7-9

Partnership with Parents

Sukari Presbyterian Junior School recognizes that it is only through parents and teachers working together in close partnership that students will make progress. Through a regular communications system Parents are updated on the progress of their children and on activities taking place in School.

Extracurricular Activities

Learners engage in different extracurricular activities like football, volleyball, netball, basketball, netball, athletics, swimming, debate, chess, music & drama, Mandarin(Chinese) language competition etc. Learners are encouraged to involve themselves in at least two activities every term and their skills acquisition is well tracked for support and appreciation.

Hospitality

We have a spacious pavilion where the learners take their lunch  and Tea/Snacks. The meals have balanced diet.

Transport

The School has a modern fleet of buses plying within the designated routes. We have 12 modern buses and one van which are well maintained. Each of our buses & van are driven by experienced driver, aided by a caretaker who ensure the learners board and alight safely.
