EDUCATIONAL VISITS
SPA organizes educational visits and experiential learning with a wide range of learning opportunities outside of the classroom. These include ; day trips which are subject specific, local and regional visits to museums and galleries and concerts, as well as overnight regional and international educational visits.
These are designed to support academic learning and to expose students to other cultures and destinations and to develop a global perspective.
We have introduced a series of outdoor educational visits which are age specific and designed to encourage independence, confidence and a wider understanding of local and regional issues such as conservation, environment and enterprise.
SOME OF OUR VISITS
MT KILIMANJARO
The tallest mountain in Africa. It is located at the border of Kenya and Tanzania. The weather was favourable to us to get an epic view of the peak.
LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK
We took our students to lake Naivasha national park in Rift Valley. They got to see the beautiful lake and flamingoes. They were happy to view the wild animals the park had.
FORT JESUS MOMBASA
Our students got to learn a bit of history by visiting Fort Jesus and the Gede ruins. They got to learn how the first missionaries that come to Kenya arrived.
